The Cruelty of Moral Indignation Wins Award in 83rd Annual South Shore Arts Salon Show “My America”
Updated: 5 days ago
"The Cruelty of Moral Indignation" is a controversial piece, but an important one. The "My America" Salon Show is themed to mark the United States' 250th anniversary (semiquincentennial), featuring works addressing identity, memory, patriotism, and change. This show, to me, was important and full of resistance. 68 selected artists contributed works, with The Cruelty of Moral Indignation winning the Cegur/Pohl award (one of the top Salon Show awards) and was announced at the reception of the show.
This exhibit received over 300 submissions, so I feel proud and honored to be a selected artist for the Salon Show and to win an award for another year in a row. Thank you all, as always, for your support.
